Steve Sharp
Mr. James S. Sharp, Jr., (Steve) was born in Atlanta Georgia in May of 1957, is a graduate of Holston High School, Class of 1975, graduated from The University of Tennessee with a Bachelor Of Science Degree in 1982 and Georgia State University School of Law with a Doctor Of Jurisprudence  Degree in 1991.  Steve was admitted to practice law in the State of Tennessee in 1991 and Georgia that same year. Mr. Sharp has served on numerous boards in Knox County and is a member of the Knoxville Bar Association, and a member of the Board of Directors for the First Tee Program at Williams Creek and is active at Chilhowee Hills Baptist Church. Over the last 24 years, has engaged in the general practice of law, which includes but is not limited to personal injury, products liability, probate, corporate/small business, with an emphasis or concentration on domestic relations/divorce and criminal litigation; and although located in Knoxville, Mr. Sharp has represented numerous clients from all surrounding counties in East Tennessee and outside

the State as well. Steve is married to Jeannie Bowen Sharp and has two adult children, Nancyjane and Zac. Steve believes in and follows SCA not TCA.
     Ron Attanasio
Mr. Ron Attanasio was born in Richmond, Virginia in March of 1960, was raised in Hendersonville, Tennessee, is a graduate of The University of Tennessee at Martin (B.S. Business Administration with Honors in 1982) and The University of Tennessee College of Law (J.D. Doctor Of Jurisprudence in 1985).  Ron was admitted to practice in the State of Tennessee in 1985 and has also been admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Tennessee and the Middle District of Kentucky, as well as the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.  Mr. Attanasio is a member of both the Knoxville Bar Association and the Tennessee Bar Association, and has served as the President Of the Board Of Governors of The Second Harvest Food Bank Of East Tennessee and as a mentor/tutor in the Knox County Adult Literacy Program.   Mr. Attanasio's practice has an emphasis on litigation (jury and non-jury trials),  representing plaintiffs in damage cases involving personal injury, medical malpractice 
and professional negligence, defective products as well as domestic, corporate and probate matters; and although Mr. Attanasio's practice is located in Knoxville, he has represented numerous clients from outside the State of Tennessee.  Ron is married to his high-school sweetheart, Linda Butler Attanasio, a Vision Specialist with Knox County Schools and has two children, Ryan and Meagan.
Robin Maples
     Robin DeBord Maples

Robin is Ron’s legal assistant/paralegal as well as the office manager for the firm. Robin has 30 + years experience in the legal field and truly has a passion for the law.  Both Ron and Robin are available to answer your questions and to attend to the needs of your case.

Fun Fact:   Robin has a miniature Australian Shepard named Justice, as in “legal justice”.

     Alexis Thomas Halk

Alexis is Steve’s legal assistant/paralegal and has 15 years experience in the field of domestic relations. As Steve is in court the majority of the day, Alexis is available to answer questions and attend to the needs of your case in his absence.

Fun Fact:  Alexis rides a Harley Super Glide and enjoys spending time with her dog Rico.



Laura J. Newton
Laura is employed as the receptionist for the firm. She is often the first voice you hear when you call the office and the first face you see when you visit the office.

Fun Fact: Laura enjoys Yoga and her dog Winslow.
